Winning Over Manhattan

Linda’s work continually impresses audiences across the country, but this Midwest artist’s paintings have a second home in the art clubs of Manhattan. 2012 followed exactly in the successful footsteps of 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008, and has pushed into even greater things, as she has been invited back to New York City and three of her latest paintings received prestigious awards there this winter. This year, all of the award-winning paintings were from the “Footstep” series; it is clear that the series is one of the New York art world’s all-time favorites.

“This is a virtuoso work….it must be enormously difficult to capture these effects of snow and shadow with pastel,” says Peter Trippi – editor of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine about Linda’s painting, “Treehaven #2.”
