One of Linda's most loved works, "Treehaven #1" was spotlighted
in the French Arts Magazine "Pratique des Arts" in the June 2010 special
issue
of the magazine highlighting pastel artists of the world.

Just as quickly as Linda finishes new masterworks, they are winning awards. 2010 has followed exactly in the successful footsteps of 2009 and has pushed into even greater things, as she has been invited back to New York City and has won multiple medals yet again. February brought an Excellence Award to Linda's piece Treehaven #2 at the 7th Biennial National Art Exhibition in Punta Gorda, Florida. Says Peter Trippi - editor of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine and juror of the event - about the painting, "This is a virtuoso work....it must be enormously difficult to capture these effects of snow and shadow with pastel."
From Wisconsin to Illinois to New York to Florida, her artwork has consistently won prestigious awards in whichever exhibition it's been included. Linda closed this year 2010 with much of her exhibitions in New York City, and as it turned out, with two extremely prestigious awards to wrap up the year. One of them the Anna Hyatt Huntington Bronze Medal at the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club's 114th Annual Open Juried Exhibition, and the other, the Dianne B. Bernhard Silver Medal at the Allied Artists of America 97th Annual Exhibition. Both awards going to extremely recent works, "Footsteps #1" and "Footsteps #5," respectively.
